The recent tornado outbreak in and around downtown Atlanta reminded me that major disasters can happen anywhere. Throughout Texas, wildfires are raging. In the summer, the west will ignite again.

Let's remember to pray for people in natural disasters and take note of how blessed we are. I know it is hard to do (I get bouts of depression and anxiety now and then), but I think reminding ourselves of the real world can help us make a difference, whether it be in prayer, volunteer work, both, or more.

Amen - with the flooding over the past few days, and the large Salmonella Outbreak in Colorado - I am agreeing with you in prayer.-
